Security ID Application






The Airport Badging Office is located on the 2nd floor of the airport terminal building across from the large airport conference room. Please make an appointment to begin the process to obtain your airport-issued identification media, renew your airport-issued media, set-up or renewing an Authorized Signatory, dropping off an application, and to obtain employee parking permits. Appointments are required for new ID’s (SIDA, AOA, Secure, and Sterile), renewal ID’s (SIDA, AOA, Secure and Sterile), and Authorized Signatory.

Hours of Operation

Monday and Thursday
Appointments are available between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.

Tuesday and Friday
Appointments are available between 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.

Security Identification Display Area (SIDA)/Sterile Area Badges

In compliance with 49 CFR, Part 1542, all employees must have the proper security identification media to work in the secured areas and/or sterile areas of the airport. To begin the SIDA badging application process, download and complete the Unescorted SIDA Application (link provided above) and schedule your fingerprint appointment with the Airport Badging Office. You must have a valid Passport OR valid driver’s license and social security card OR County original/certified issued birth certificate with you when you arrive for your fingerprints.  Drop-in appointments are not allowed. You will need to verify that a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and a Security Threat Assessment (STA) have been completed prior to scheduling your SIDA Security Training class.

AOA Badges

General aviation users and contractors working in the AOA requiring regular access to the Air Operations Area (AOA) must be issued a GRB AOA badge. To begin the application process, download and complete the Unescorted AOA Access Application (link provided above) and schedule an appointment with the Airport Badging Office to complete a Security Threat Assessment (STA). Once the STA has been completed, you will need to schedule your AOA Security training with the Airport Badging Office.

Authorized Signatories

Authorized Signatory Authority is granted to a company representative who is authorized to request fingerprinting and the issuance of GRB identification badges for their employees. These representatives with the Signatory Authority are typically supervisory personnel who are entrusted to verify employment background and work authorization documents. NOTE: All signatories must first be badged at GRB before given authorization to sign for others in their respective company or organization.

Airport Ground Vehicle Operations Training and Testing

Individuals who require driving privileges in the non-movement area, must print off, read the Ground Vehicle Operations Training Manual, Part 1, and complete the non-movement area driving test (linked below).  Please bring your completed test with you when you come to apply for a badge, or when requesting a renewal.
