NEW TSA FEES FOR THOSE TRAVELLING WITHOUT PROPER ID

Starting February 1, 2026, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will charge a $45 fee for, “TSA ConfirmID,” to travelers at U.S. airports who lack a compliant ID (such as a REAL ID or passport). This fee, payable online via Pay.gov prior to arrival, covers enhanced, temporary, 10-day, or one-time, identity verification, but does not guarantee authorization to pass through security.
