GRB Water Strategy

GRB will go the extra mile to create and continually improve a forward-focused water stewardship system that brings people and businesses to take ownership of and pride in our water resources and help make us the airport of choice.

Commitment and Policy Statement

Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) commits to provide resources for, implementation of and disclose progress for the GRB Water Stewardship Program to achieve Alliance for Water Stewardship outcomes. The program will openly and transparently engage GRB stakeholders and align with watershed sustainability plans.

Through communication and engagement GRB will work with our stakeholders to understand our impact our water quality and seeks to implement strategies to decrease water runoff and improve water quality for Northeastern Wisconsin.

Our Stewardship Plan includes the following goals…

1. Participate in the planned public input session regarding NERR authorization.
2. Incorporate rain gardens, cisterns or meadow basins into areas affected by construction.
3. Incorporate agricultural best practices on airport property.
4. For planned capital projects include an analysis of stormwater.
5. Collection of aircraft de-icing fluid.
6. SWPP & SPCC updates.
